About the LifeCentre

LifeCentre has been at the heart of Seedley and Langworthy Community since 2000, committed to the local community by advising, caring, training and providing opportunity for young people, their families and the wider community. We love seeing people reaching more of their potential and are pleased that some of our original young people are still with us and have become volunteers, now helping the next generation.

LifeCentre is actively involved in the local community of Seedley and Langworthy with representatives on community groups.  Many of our volunteers are local residents and part of Langworthy Community Church, who are motivated by offering positive programmes to help give people a hope and a future.  With a good reputation of working with young people since July 2000, we have developed our work wider into the community.  LifeCentre offers a fully equipped café which acts as a base for our youth work, mentoring, community space, Red Cross food parcel project, sports coaching and a professional counselling service.

LifeCentre is a charity and raises funds through grants and trusts, including supported by Ordsall/Langworthy Community Committee. Our current projects are supported by our Lifecentre Godparents, The Cinnamon Network, One Stop, Warburtons, Georgia’s Children and Salford NHS Clinical Commissioning Group.

“We come to LifeCentre because it’s fun, better than hanging about on the streets”

“The LifeCentre workers have made a big different to Seedley and Langworthy by living and being part of the community”

LifeCentre Salford is in partnership with Langworthy Community Church.
