Working alongside local people to provide a hot meal and fun over the school holidays

Filling the gap in the holidays

Lifecentre is leading a Salford-wide pilot to challenge holiday hunger with Salford families. Based in local Primary Schools (6 in 2018) sessions provide a two course hot meal, friendship with volunteers from the local community, sports and craft to keep our minds and bodies moving in the holidays.

Our holiday programme is made possible by a range of amazing partners including Citywide catering services, Rio Ferdinand Foundation, Cadishead Rhinos, Langworthy Community Church, Greggs, Salford Community Leisure, Kelloggs, Salford City FC, Audacious! Church, Salford City Council Health Improvement Service, St James’ Church, Salford NHS CCG and Salford CVS.

Make Lunch sessions are from 11-1pm, please call us on 0161 736 7644 for more information and how to refer to the project.
