A number of organisations use the Lifecentre premises to deliver services to the Salford community. The key ones are :-
Place2Be supports children’s mental health, providing counselling and support in the school environment. The Lifecentre hosts weekly parent counselling sessions with a Place2Be counsellor for referred parents from Willow Tree Community Primary School.
Place2Be provides emotional and therapeutic services in primary and secondary schools, building children's resilience through talking, creative work and play.
Salford Food Parcels is an independent project hosted at the Lifecentre. In partnership with the British Red Cross, it provides food parcels to destitute asylum seeking people in the local area. On average we give out 12-15 parcels per week.
Salford Food Parcels happens every Wednesday from 10am-12 noon. Individuals can drop-in to discuss their needs and receive support from the project.
